Where Healing Art Meets Healing Science!

Our Mission is based upon combining the best of Western traditional medicine and the Oriental philosophies of Yin and Yang to create a holistic approach to healthcare. We believe that both health and disease are created by balances and imbalances in the body.  We treat each person as an individual that presents with a unique pattern of yin and yang symptoms, as well as a western based diagnosis.  With this belief, care is provided for balancing the body, mind, and spirit.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medicine of balance.  The balance of yin and yang.   TCM is a holistic approach to healthcare developed from the classic theories of the Zang-Fu organs and the fourteen Acupuncture meridians.  It evolved into an empirical science based upon clinical experiences that were meticulously recorded by medical scholars over the centuries.  Since 1972, this Traditional medicine has been growing and developing in the United States.  The classical Chinese explanation is that channels of energy (Qi) run in patterns though out the body and over the skin surface.  These energy channels are called meridians.  These meridians can be influenced by needling the acupuncture points.

Today, many Eastern and Western trained health care providers work together to improve the health of their patients, continually finding ways in which the two disciplines work together in an integrative manner.  More Western trained practitioners are recognizing that a combination of Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine  provides better results than just a single method.  This is especially true for the treatment of difficult diseases.

Acupuncture is a complete healing system and can treat most diseases.  Listed below are some of the diseases that lend themselves particularly well to acupuncture treatment, and have been granted by the National Institute of Health and the World Health Organization, the status of treatable diseases with acupuncture.
